Can you periodically use the same PUR water dispenser filter over several years, if it has not yet expired? - pur filter expire
I have a PUR water dispenser and use it only if I have more water in bottles. I live in an area that uses well water and the quality is poor. The filter is the same three years. I have never changed b / c the replacement indicator says it is always good. But until today I have a stomach ache after drinking water dispenser yesterday.

3 years have formed a long time and Bacteria May in the filter or well water is so bad that not all bacteria, the filter including the filter can be in the well water. If you think that - you have to get the water tested. Discard the filter and stick to bottled water until you know for sure.
